On the afternoon of November 3, 2025, the parallel meeting of the 18th China-Latin America Entrepreneurs Summit – China-Latin America Intelligent Equipment Manufacturing Special Dialogue opened at the Zhengzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center.
Nearly 200 people from the industry gathered together to have in-depth exchanges around the two major topics of technical standards docking and sustainable development, and to explore new paths for cooperation.

Currently, the global industry is ushering in a wave of transformation and upgrading with “intelligent and green” as the core.
As an important force in the field of intelligent equipment manufacturing, China has accumulated a mature technology system, sufficient production capacity supply, and rich scene application experience; Latin American countries, with their abundant natural resources and broad market space, are in a critical period of industrial upgrading and infrastructure construction. The two sides have formed a natural fit in terms of industrial complementarity, and their cooperation potential continues to be released.
During the meeting, Iriat, the first vice president of the National Chamber of Industry of Bolivia, said in an exclusive interview with reporters, “We have a strong interest in cooperation in the fields of agriculture, mining, construction equipment and artificial intelligence development.” He bluntly said that intelligent manufacturing is the inevitable direction of global industrial development, and China’s technical strength in this field is at the world’s leading level. Bolivia looks forward to introducing advanced technology through cooperation to help upgrade local industries.

As the core area of China’s grain production and an important industrial base for intelligent equipment manufacturing, Henan has become a cooperation target that Bolivia is paying attention to.
“From the development practice of Henan, we know that it is an important supplier of food to many places in China.” Iriat said that Bolivia has unique resource potential in the fields of agriculture and mining, but currently faces technical bottlenecks and equipment shortcomings; while Henan has outstanding advantages in smart agriculture, mining equipment R&D and manufacturing, and other fields. Cooperation between the two parties can achieve a win-win situation of “technology empowering resources” and has a broad market space.
In fact, China-Bolivia practical cooperation has laid a solid foundation.
In the mining field, Henan enterprises have already made arrangements: Luoyang Bangxu Industrial has joined forces with the Henan Second Geological and Mineral Survey Institute to carry out in-depth cooperation in mining industry chain construction, geological exploration, mineral development and metal smelting in Bolivia, and jointly create a local “mining one-stop service platform” for Chinese-funded enterprises.
Cooperation in the agricultural field has also achieved initial results. Bolivia’s quinoa, soybeans and other specialty agricultural products have entered the Chinese market; Henan’s smart agricultural technology is also actively exploring overseas implementation scenarios, building a bridge for subsequent in-depth cooperation.
“We also hope that more Chinese companies can invest in Bolivia, so that smart technology can truly land in Bolivia and achieve common development.” Iriat said.
Cooperation between China and Latin America in the field of intelligent equipment manufacturing will not only bring economic benefits to both parties, but also promote the coordinated development of global industries.
As cooperation continues to deepen, I believe that China and Bolivia will achieve more fruitful results in the field of agricultural and mining intelligent equipment manufacturing, injecting new vitality into China-Latin America cooperation.
