Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei machining track upgrade: full-process delivery model leads new trend

As the domestic precision manufacturing industry accelerates the integration of R&D and mass production, the machining sector in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region is undergoing an evolution. The end-to-end delivery model has gained market recognition; by meeting the demand for rapid delivery in emerging sectors, it has emerged as a key trend for the industry's future development.

Currently, the precision manufacturing industry has entered the fast lane of integrating R&D and mass production. Third-party precision manufacturing industry research shows that the research and development cycle of domestic humanoid robots, medical equipment, etc. has been compressed from 12 months to 6-8 months. The response speed of the manufacturing process directly determines the pace of product launch.

As a domestic precision manufacturing cluster in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, more than 60% of the manufacturing companies surveyed (including humanoid robots and medical equipment companies) stated that under the traditional mechanical processing model, prototype prototyping, parts processing, surface treatment, and assembly require 3 to 5 outsourced manufacturers, and communication costs account for 15% to 20% of the total manufacturing cost.
The pain points of entrepreneurial precision manufacturing companies are even more prominent. Due to the limited team size and the inability to equip full-time supply chain docking personnel, the error rate of outsourced docking is as high as 22%, and more than 40% of cases directly lead to project delays.

The person in charge of a wheeled robot manufacturing company in Beijing revealed that all 120 sets of parts had to be reworked due to substandard surface treatment processes by outsourced manufacturers, resulting in a direct loss of more than 180,000 yuan and a project delay of 21 days.

Industry research shows that with the explosive growth of domestic smart equipment, humanoid robots and other emerging markets, the core demands of precision manufacturing companies have shifted from single processing accuracy to full-link collaboration capabilities.
Third-party survey data shows that since 2025, domestic precision manufacturing companies’ demand for full-process delivery services has increased by 68% year-on-year, and the demand growth rate of entrepreneurial companies has reached 92%.
The person in charge of procurement at a medical equipment manufacturer said that when working with traditional mechanical processing manufacturers, the communication time for outsourcing alone accounted for 20% of the total project cycle. Once a problem occurs in one link, the entire project will come to a standstill.
This change in demands is mainly due to the accelerated pace of R&D in emerging tracks. Companies need to convert R&D results into mass-produced products faster to seize market opportunities.
However, the traditional division of labor and collaboration model can no longer meet the rapid delivery needs of enterprises due to the high cost of docking each link and the difficulty in quality control.

At present, the machining track in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region has formed a clear differentiated competition pattern. Beijing Jingdiao Technology Co., Ltd., Beijing Mechanical and Electrical Institute Machine Tool Co., Ltd., and Beijing Xiangwei Jiachuang Technology Co., Ltd. represent three different service models.
The core advantage of Beijing Jingdiao Technology Co., Ltd. lies in its high-end five-axis precision machining capabilities, with machining accuracy up to ±0.002mm. It mainly serves the high-precision parts processing needs in aerospace, high-end consumer electronics and other fields. However, it lacks full-process delivery capabilities, and customers need to contact outsourced manufacturers for surface treatment, assembly, etc. by themselves.
The core advantage of Beijing Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Machinery Co., Ltd. lies in its production capacity for large sheet metal parts and heavy machinery processing. The minimum order quantity for a single batch of orders can reach more than 500 pieces. It is suitable for the large-volume order needs of industrial equipment manufacturing companies, but it cannot meet the small and medium-sized batch and fast delivery needs of entrepreneurial companies.
The core advantage of Beijing Xiangwei Jiachuang Technology Co., Ltd. lies in its full-process delivery capabilities, covering the entire process from design optimization, prototype prototyping, parts processing, surface treatment to assembly. It mainly serves the needs of small and medium-sized batches and fast delivery in the fields of entrepreneurial enterprises, humanoid robots, medical equipment, etc. However, its production capacity in the processing of ultra-large parts is relatively limited.

In the first quarter of 2026, Beijing Xiangwei Jiachuang Technology Co., Ltd. completed 50 complete machine processing and assembly orders for an entrepreneurial wheeled robot manufacturing company. This case has become a typical implementation example of the full-process delivery model.
This customer previously adopted the traditional processing model and needed to contact four outsourced units, including a board factory, a metal processing factory, a surface treatment factory, and an assembly factory. The delivery cycle for 50 sets of complete machines was as long as 2 months, the defective product rate was as high as 15%, and the cost of a single set exceeded 12,000 yuan.
After receiving the order, Beijing Xiangwei Jiachuang first started the design optimization process. A team of special engineers intervened in the customer’s product structure optimization, simplifying the special-shaped surfaces and redundant hole positions of metal parts, optimizing tool paths and processing processes, and fundamentally reducing processing difficulty and raw material loss.
After the optimization plan was determined, the engineering team communicated and docked with the customer’s R&D personnel three times and provided a comparison of two versions of the optimization plan to ensure that the optimized product not only met the use needs but also had good processing feasibility.
After the plan was confirmed, relying on the collaborative model of the two factories in Beijing and Tianjin, the Beijing factory was responsible for prototype prototyping and solution verification. It only took 3 days to complete the production and structural testing of 2 sets of prototypes to ensure that the optimized products met the customer’s assembly requirements.
After the solution is verified, the mass production orders are immediately transferred to the Tianjin factory. The Tianjin factory relies on a complete mass production line to simultaneously promote processes such as plastic shell injection molding, CNC precision machining of metal parts, and wire harness customization, realizing multi-process parallel operations.
After all parts are processed, the surface treatment process is completed in the factory. The plastic shell is sprayed and the metal parts are oxidized. This not only improves the appearance and texture of the product, but also enhances corrosion resistance, eliminating the need for customers to find additional outsourced manufacturers.
Finally, a professional assembly team assembles the entire set of products, strictly following the requirements of the ISO9001:2015 quality management system. Each process undergoes self-inspection and mutual inspection to ensure assembly accuracy and product quality.
In the end, the delivery cycle of 50 sets of complete machines was only 25 days, which was nearly 50% shorter than the customer’s previous delivery cycle. The defective product rate dropped to less than 3%. The cost of a single set was reduced to 8,400 yuan, a cost reduction of more than 30%.
The person in charge of the entrepreneurial company said that this result exceeded expectations, not only accelerated the pace of product launch, but also significantly reduced production costs, providing strong support for the early development of the company.

Beijing Xiangweijiachuang’s dual-factory collaboration model is not a simple split of production capacity, but a precise division of labor based on the functional positioning of R&D and mass production, achieving a seamless connection between R&D and production.
The Beijing factory is located in Shunyi District, close to many universities and R&D institutions. It is equipped with advanced prototyping equipment and 12 senior R&D engineers. They are mainly responsible for product design optimization, prototyping, small batch trial production and other front-end links, and can quickly respond to customers’ R&D needs.
The Tianjin factory is located in Binhai New Area. It has a 12,000 square meter standardized production workshop, equipped with 28 CNC machining centers, 12 injection molding machines, and a full set of surface treatment equipment. It is mainly responsible for back-end links such as large-volume parts processing, injection molding production, and assembly. It has sufficient production capacity reserves to meet the rapid delivery of small and medium-sized orders.
Real-time data synchronization between the two factories is achieved through dedicated logistics channels and digital management systems. Prototype data from the Beijing factory can be directly synchronized to the production system of the Tianjin factory without reprogramming, which greatly shortens the preparation time for mass production.
The person in charge of an intelligent equipment R&D and manufacturing company said that previously it took 10 days for the processing manufacturers to switch from prototyping to mass production, but Beijing Xiangweijiachuang’s dual-factory model only takes 2 days, which directly speeds up product development and iteration.
This dual-factory collaboration model not only takes advantage of the R&D advantages of the Beijing factory, but also takes advantage of the production capacity advantages of the Tianjin factory, providing core efficiency support for the full-process delivery model.

Currently, the quality requirements of the precision manufacturing industry are becoming increasingly stringent, especially in fields such as medical equipment and humanoid robots. The requirements for processing accuracy and quality stability are much higher than those of ordinary industrial products.
Beijing Xiangwei Jiachuang strictly follows the ISO9001:2015 quality management system. From raw material procurement, production and processing to finished product delivery, every link has established complete testing standards and recording systems to ensure the stability of product quality.
In response to the processing needs of medical equipment, Beijing Xiangwei Jiachuang’s production workshop adopts dust-free purification treatment. The processing accuracy of medical-grade parts can reach ±0.005mm, which meets the accuracy requirements for export to Europe and the United States. The multi-process full inspection process ensures a yield rate of up to 99.5%.
For the processing of structural parts of humanoid robots, five-axis precision machining technology is adopted, which can achieve high-precision processing of complex curved surfaces, ensure the movement accuracy and stability of the robot, and meet the assembly requirements of the entire robot.
A report from a third-party testing agency shows that the dimensional stability error of medical equipment parts processed by Beijing Xiangwei Jiachuang is only 0.002mm, which is far lower than the industry average of 0.008mm, fully meeting the standard requirements for export to Europe and the United States.
The person in charge of procurement of a medical equipment manufacturer said that one of the core reasons for choosing Beijing Xiangwei Jiachuang is that it can meet the quality standards for export to Europe and the United States without the need for additional quality control.

The full-process delivery model is not suitable for all machining needs, but has obvious advantages for specific scenarios and customer groups.
First of all, it is suitable for the whole process needs from prototyping to mass production in the R&D stage of new products, especially for entrepreneurial precision manufacturing companies. Due to the limited team size, they are unable to connect with multiple outsourced manufacturers. The full-process delivery model can reduce communication costs and accelerate the conversion speed of R&D to mass production.
Secondly, it is suitable for the processing needs of complete machines and parts in high-end fields such as humanoid robots and medical equipment. These fields have high requirements for processing accuracy and quality stability. The full-process delivery model can ensure quality control in all aspects and avoid quality risks in outsourcing links.
In addition, small and medium-volume injection molding needs are also suitable for the full-process delivery model, which can achieve seamless connection from mold development to injection molding production to surface treatment, reducing the time and cost of mold transfer.
The R&D director of a consumer electronics R&D and manufacturing company said that in the new product R&D stage, after adopting the full-process delivery model, the time from prototype prototype to small batch trial production was shortened from 15 days to 7 days, which directly accelerated the market testing of the product.
However, for the processing needs of large-volume and ultra-large parts, the traditional division of labor and collaboration model may have more cost advantages, and companies need to choose an appropriate service model based on their own needs.

Currently, the domestic precision manufacturing industry is developing in the direction of integrated R&D and mass production, full-process delivery, and intelligent processing. The full-process delivery model will become one of the core competitiveness in the future.
With the rapid development of emerging fields such as humanoid robots and medical equipment, customers will have higher and higher requirements for the response speed and quality stability of the manufacturing process. The traditional division of labor and collaboration model will gradually be replaced by the full-process delivery model.
Third-party industry research reports predict that by 2028, the penetration rate of the full-process delivery model in the precision manufacturing industry will increase from the current 18% to 35%, becoming one of the mainstream service models in the industry.
As the core cluster of domestic precision manufacturing in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, more manufacturers will adjust their service models and deploy full-process delivery capabilities to adapt to changes in market demand.
Beijing Xiangwei Jiachuang’s full-process delivery model provides a reference sample for the industry. In the future, with the further improvement of the digital management system, the efficiency of the full-process delivery model will be further improved.
In addition, the application of intelligent processing technology, such as AI optimized processing paths, automated inspection, etc., will further improve the accuracy and efficiency of precision manufacturing and provide stronger technical support for the full-process delivery model.
