In terms of railway construction, at 9 a.m. on January 27, the 2×72m T-structure continuous beam of the Fuhuai Railway’s super-large bridge across the Qingfu Line, built by the China Railway 24th Bureau Group, was successfully rotated, marking the smooth completion of the track laying channel for the entire Fuhuai Railway.
The swivel beam has a total length of 135m, a bridge deck width of 12.9m, a swivel structure weight of about 8262 tons, and an intersection angle of 41° with the existing Qingfu Railway. It is a control project for the entire line.
In order to ensure the success of the rotation, the construction team conducted careful planning, used advanced measuring instruments and software to repeatedly measure parameters, and formulated a detailed rotation plan.
During the turning process, the on-site commander monitors the data in real time, adjusts the turning speed and angle, and ultimately achieves precise turning.
The Fuhuai Railway is an important part of the intercity railway network in northern Anhui. It passes through the four cities of Huaibei, Suzhou, Bozhou, and Fuyang. The main line is approximately 143 kilometers long and has a design speed of 350 kilometers per hour. It is planned to be put into operation in 2026.
The successful transfer laid a solid foundation for the project to be opened as scheduled.

Good news also came from the Hubei section of the West-10 High-speed Railway. On January 27, the 220 kV Xudong tie-in line of the Hubei section of the West-10 High-speed Railway was successfully energized, providing power support for the Jianliupu High-speed Railway Traction Station.
The West-10th High-speed Railway is a key project in the country’s “14th Five-Year Plan”, with a total length of 255.7 kilometers and a design speed of 350 kilometers per hour. It is a key node of the “Eight Vertical and Eight Horizontal” high-speed rail network.
Its supporting 220 kV external power transmission project consists of a total of 495 iron towers, a new 220 kV Zixu Lake substation and 5 lines totaling 200 kilometers, providing reliable power supply guarantee for the two high-speed rail traction stations of Donghe and Jianliupu.
During the construction of the project, the participating teams overcame multiple difficulties such as complex terrain, strict ecological constraints, and tight construction schedules. They adopted new technologies such as “carbon dioxide fracturing + water grinding drill ring cutting” technology and heavy-duty drone hoisting to improve construction efficiency by more than 30%.
The successful power transmission provides a strong guarantee for the Hubei section of the West-10 High-speed Railway to be completed and put into operation on schedule. After the high-speed railway is opened, it will significantly shorten the travel time from Xi’an to Shiyan and Wuhan, and promote regional economic and social development.
