Mr. Zhou Jun, member of the National Professional Standardization Technical Committee, chairman of China Intelligence Alliance Investment and founder of CSHIA, gave a keynote speech “Insights on Smart Home Consumption Trends in 2026”.
Mr. Zhou Jun analyzed the development of the industry from multiple dimensions such as market, products, and consumption.
He pointed out that China has become the core engine of global smart home development.
In 2026, China’s smart home market is expected to reach 1.1-1.2 trillion, accounting for about 30% of the world. The Asia-Pacific region will also become the world’s largest smart home market.

There are significant differences between Chinese and foreign markets in terms of driving factors and ecological patterns.
Driven by factors such as policies and consumption upgrades, the domestic market is steadily moving forward from single-product intelligence to whole-house intelligence.
Categories such as smart security and whole-house intelligence have become the core growth points of the market, and the industry as a whole maintains a trend of rapid growth.

This insight also clarified the characteristics of smart home consumer groups.
The consumer group is younger and middle-income, with nearly 50% of the population aged 26-35.
The needs of users of different ages and urban levels are clearly differentiated.
Consumers pay more attention to intelligence and design when making purchasing decisions, but they also face pain points such as ecological fragmentation and complex operations.

Offline channels are transforming towards immersive experience and scenario-based delivery. The industry channel pattern is being deeply reconstructed from product distribution to global collaborative scenario delivery, and the head effect continues to be highlighted.

Technological innovation has become the core driving force for industry development.
The form of smart home products has ushered in four major qualitative changes. Device-side AI, protocol unification, and perception technology upgrading constitute the three major breakthroughs at the bottom, promoting the upgrade of equipment from passive response to active prediction.
Zhou Jun pointed out that 2026 is the critical point for smart homes to transition from “device interconnection” to “spatial intelligence”, and the focus of industry competition will shift to “whether they are proactive enough.”
In the future, product innovation and market competition will focus on the three main lines of active service, health management, and energy optimization. The silver economy and dual-carbon strategy will also bring new growth opportunities to the industry.

At the same time as the conference, the REX|Chuangming Night Smart Home New Year Opening Ceremony Guest Dinner, Breaking the Cocoon·Fusion-Whole House Intelligent Industry Integration Private Board Meeting, CSHIA Entrepreneurship Camp|Global Customer Acquisition New Growth Plan Launching Ceremony, and the “Smart Home Traffic Creator Summit Forum” and other exciting industry activities were also successfully held.
These activities provide a good platform for communication and cooperation in the smart home industry and help promote the further development of the industry.
