On June 16, the 2026 China (Guangzhou) Cross-border E-commerce Fair (hereinafter referred to as the “Cross-Border Fair”) opened grandly in Guangzhou.
With the theme of “New Momentum for Foreign Trade·New Digital Future”, this cross-border trade fair has an exhibition area of more than 50,000 square meters and brings together more than 50 cross-border e-commerce platform companies, nearly 40 industrial zones across the country, more than 200 cross-border e-commerce service providers and more than 1,000 supply chain companies to participate in the exhibition.
The exhibition will last for three days. During the same period, more than 30 forum activities, live broadcasts and precision procurement matchmaking sessions will be held to provide enterprises with cutting-edge practical strategies and cognitive upgrade channels, and to comprehensively enhance their overseas capabilities.

On the first day of the opening of the cross-trade fair, merchants gathered on site and the popularity was high.
Many indicators of this year’s cross-trade fair exceeded those of the previous one. The exhibition scale, exhibitors, and booths increased by 24.6%, 8.7%, and 15.7% respectively. For the first time, the number of participating e-commerce platforms exceeded 50, an increase of 21.4%, achieving full coverage of the global mainstream market.
The cross-trade fair strives to build a full industry chain and full ecological foreign trade product selection platform, industry docking platform and transformation and upgrading platform, expand diversified export channels, cultivate new momentum for foreign trade development, and serve the innovative development of foreign trade.
Relying on Guangdong’s rich industrial belt resources, this cross-border trade fair has created a platform for cross-border e-commerce exchanges, embodying the role of an exhibition platform that “takes root in Guangdong, radiates across the country, and connects the world.”
In recent years, Guangdong has focused on building a “five-foreign linkage” combination of foreign trade, foreign investment, outsourcing, foreign economics, and foreign intelligence, actively expanded cross-border e-commerce cooperation with countries around the world, especially RCEP member states, and solidly promoted high-level opening up to the outside world and achieved positive results.
Guangdong Province’s cross-border e-commerce import and export scale has jumped from 11.3 billion yuan in 2015 to 623 billion yuan in 2025, expanding 55 times in 10 years, with an average annual growth of 49.3%, accounting for more than 1/3 of the country, and ranking first in the country in scale.
The relevant person in charge of the Guangdong Provincial Department of Commerce said that Guangdong is giving full play to its advantages as a major foreign trade, manufacturing and innovation province, accelerating the development of the “cross-border e-commerce + industrial belt” model, and continues to work hard to improve quality, strengthen brands, and extend the industrial chain. It strives to cultivate more trillion-yuan export industry clusters and create more “Cantonese” brands that are well-known and popular, providing a more solid industrial foundation for the development of cross-border e-commerce.
At this cross-trade fair, the commercial authorities of more than 20 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) across the country organized a number of characteristic industrial belts to participate in the “Alliance Pavilion” to gather industrial resources on a large scale.
Among them, the scale of participation in special categories such as Guangdong Zhongshan Lighting and Yangjiang Hardware Knives and Scissors has steadily increased, and special industrial belts in Xinjiang, Shanxi, Yunnan, Inner Mongolia and other places have made concentrated appearances.
Liu Gang, founder of the Zhongshan Lighting Factory Cross-Border Spot Alliance, said that this year, 17 factories from the source of the Zhongshan lighting industry chain will participate in the exhibition, becoming the largest single-theme exhibitor in the form of products at this exhibition.
Focusing on the “industrial belt + cross-border e-commerce” model, the industrial belt is defined as the product side, and cross-border e-commerce is defined as spot goods going overseas. At present, more than 40 industry factories have been united to use the overseas warehouse spot model for cross-border e-commerce sellers to simultaneously carry out spot distribution and general trade procurement docking.

As artificial intelligence technology fully penetrates the foreign trade industry, AI has become the core driving force for the transformation and upgrading of cross-border e-commerce.
This cross-trade fair has innovatively set up an exclusive special session with AI features, focusing on the pain points of digital overseas expansion, displaying full-link intelligent solutions to help merchants reduce costs and increase efficiency.
1688 officially launched the platform’s first cross-border e-commerce AI intelligent agent “Ao Xi”. Relying on the five major intelligent agent capabilities of product selection, sourcing, material production, and inquiry response, it can solve various pain points of cross-border merchant operations in one stop.
Amazon Global Store Asia Pacific Innovation Center officially released the “2026 China Export Cross-Border E-commerce Development Trend White Paper” at this cross-border trade fair media communication meeting, clarifying that AI-driven global operations have become a structural development opportunity for cross-border e-commerce.
At the cross-trade fair, many high-quality and creative products received close attention from many sellers.
The nail clippers of Guangdong Jinda Hardware Products Co., Ltd. have attracted a large number of sellers. Its overseas orders are mainly sent to Southeast Asia, India and other places. European and American merchants also customize high-end creative nail clippers. A single cartoon-shaped nail clipper can generate at least several hundred million yuan in revenue a year.
High-quality Made in China and advanced “intelligently made” products in China are rewriting the rules of global shelves with labels such as creativity, innovation, premium, and quality.
The growing strength of Chinese companies going overseas cannot be separated from the support of a complete overseas warehousing and logistics system.
In 2025, the annual logistics revenue of Paisujie’s global overseas warehouses will be nearly US$200 million, and its Guangzhou subsidiary’s revenue will contribute 70 million yuan. The company’s total global warehousing area will exceed 500,000 square meters, and its business covers 15 core cross-border e-commerce countries. The total number of outbound orders from overseas warehouses throughout the year will reach 35 million. It has served nearly 450 leading cross-border e-commerce companies, and its business is linked to 11 mainstream cross-border e-commerce platforms.
Guan Dian, public affairs director of Guangzhou Paisujie Information Technology Co., Ltd., said that at this stage, there has been no decline in orders due to tariff adjustments, and the company has stronger confidence in future sales in the European market.
Cross-border cooperation, openness and win-win.
The cross-trade fair, which has been held for five years, will continue to build an open cooperation platform around the three pillars of goods trade, service trade, and digital trade, helping China’s good goods write their own new rules on global shelves.
