According to feedback from participating Qingdao companies, the 2026 Cologne Hardware Show has been upgraded in the direction of intelligence, humanization, and greenness, presenting many new trends and highlights.
The first is the in-depth integration of intelligence and security. The popularity of 3D alarms, Bluetooth locks, AI tools and IoT devices is accelerating at the exhibition. There is also a Qingdao enterprise booth that specializes in garden tools and yard care supplies. On the first day of the exhibition, it attracted more than 60 merchants and received nearly one million US dollars in intended orders.
In addition, during the exhibition, the “Qingdao Excellent Products” pavilion also inspected Europe’s largest hardware DIY supermarket chain – Bauhaus. By investigating the current situation and sales model of related products in the local market, it provided strong support for companies to develop targeted products that are marketable in the local market.
