The 2026 Belo Horizonte International Mining Machinery Exhibition (EXPOSIBRAM) in Brazil will be held from August 24 to 27, 2026 at the International Exhibition Center in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.
The exhibition is held every two years and is the largest and most authoritative mining equipment professional exhibition in Brazil and even the entire South America. It is hosted by the Brazilian Mining Association IBRAM and has strong official endorsement from the Brazilian Ministry of Mines and Energy, the Mining Bureau of Minas Gerais and the South American Mining Federation.

Minas Gerais is the heart of Brazil’s mining industry, with reserves of iron ore, gold ore, bauxite, lithium ore and manganese ore ranking among the top in South America.
Relying on the complete local mining industry cluster, the exhibition radiates to ten South American countries including Brazil, Peru, Chile, Argentina, and Colombia. It is a core business hub for global mining equipment companies to deeply explore the Latin American market and connect with leading mining groups such as Vale.
Brazil continues to promote mineral modernization and new energy mineral development planning. In the next ten years, the country’s total investment in open-pit mines, underground mine upgrades, new mineral processing plants, and supporting infrastructure in mining areas will exceed 450 billion reais.
The local mining area is dominated by tropical mountainous landforms, and the equipment has strict requirements for high temperature resistance, anti-skid climbing, anti-rust and anti-corrosion, low dust, low tail gas emissions, and tailings processing capabilities.
Brazil’s domestic production capacity of high-end large-scale mining equipment is insufficient, and 70% of mining, crushing, and mineral processing equipment relies on imports, and market demand is strong.
The total indoor and outdoor exhibition area of the 2026 EXPOSIBRAM exceeded 45,000 square meters, bringing together more than 700 exhibiting companies from 48 countries. China, Germany, the United States, Turkey, and Chile constituted the five main international exhibition groups.
The number of Chinese exhibitors ranks first among overseas exhibition groups, accounting for 41% of international exhibitors.
The exhibition is expected to receive 38,000 certified professional purchasing visitors, and the total intended transaction volume of the last exhibition exceeded US$1.18 billion.

The exhibition builds a complete full-chain exhibit matrix around open-pit mining, underground mining, mineral processing, mining engineering machinery, and green intelligent equipment. It has set up a tropical mountain open-pit mining engineering machinery exhibition area, underground
There are five professional exhibition areas including the mining complete equipment area, the exploration, mineral processing and tailings environmental protection equipment exhibition area, the new energy intelligent mining equipment area, and the wear-resistant parts, maintenance supporting and mining consumables exhibition area. All equipment complies with Brazilian environmental protection emission standards and mine safety regulations.
The exhibition also held a variety of concurrent supporting activities, including the opening high-level summit of Latin American mining leaders, a hierarchical and segmented professional technical forum, a one-to-one high-end B2B precision business matching session, outdoor heavy-duty mining equipment practical demonstrations and high-end mining business salons, etc., to comprehensively improve the efficiency of large-amount order conversion.
EXPOSIBRAM brings together top industrial resources at four levels: global high-end manufacturing, high-end mining enterprise procurement in South America, government and enterprise finance, and professional technical services, becoming an irreplaceable intersection platform for the entire mining industry chain in South America.
It drives the transformation of the South American mining industry towards electric intelligence, green compliance, and tropical customization, and undertakes the three core missions of introducing cutting-edge high-end mining technology, popularizing Brazilian mining safety and environmental standards, and leading the upgrading of the global lithium new energy mineral industry.
With the rapid expansion of the global power battery industry chain, the comprehensive acceleration of the development of Brazilian lithium and iron ores, and the batch renewal of old heavy-duty equipment in all South American mining areas, EXPOSIBRAM has established a long-term and stable South American cross-border in-depth cooperation channel for Chinese and foreign high-end mining equipment companies. It is an irreplaceable benchmark and top professional mining event for the high-end mining market in Brazil and the entire South America.
